Hi, I’m Christine.
The field of social work has always fascinated me because I’ve had a profound interest in understanding how we think as humans. I like to say that this profession ‘chose me.’
It is a gift to be able to connect with people of different ages, economic statuses, cultures, and abilities. As a woman of color, I carry a deep appreciation for learning and understanding the experiences of individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Oregon. I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Portland State University and a Master’s Degree from Simmons University. I have over 10 years experience working with youth and families in the foster care system, 7 years working with adults with disabilities, and 4 years of behavioral health work with adults. I have presented at conferences on the topics of social inequity in health care and social determinants of health.
I look forward to working with you!
